Look Fantastic's July Beauty Box* arrived on my doorstep last Saturday and it was a welcome surprise! Priced at £15, the monthly #LFBeautyBox always offers an enviable range of brands and high quality products. This month's box features a range of six beauty products and I was really happy to see Nuxe, Monu and Balance Me in the beauty box. If you're someone who purchases these LookFantastic Beauty Boxes without knowing the contents then I do think that it's reassuring to know that they're going to contain notable beauty brands with high-quality products. Without further ado, let me walk you through July's product line-up.
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse | rrp £17.00 50ml
sample value £3.40
I'm already a Nuxe Huile Proigieuse convert! This body oil is seriously indulgent and with a price-tag to match. The sample size might seem small but it's enough to give you a couple of applications, so that you can see if you like the results enough to repurchase. If you do end up falling in love with this oil then it's worth baring in mind that the 50ml bottle has a similar dispenser to this sample size bottle, but the 100ml bottles come with a spray dispenser that makes it much easier to apply the oil and saves a lot of wasted product too.
Balance Me Pure Skin Face Wash | £16.00 125ml
sample value £6.40
It's no secret that I love Balance Me's products - they're just fab. I was happy to see Balance Me's Face Wash in Look Fantastic's July Beauty Box, it's a generous size and the formula will suit a range of skin types. If you like high quality cruelty-free skincare then I'd always recommend checking out Balance Me's range, hopefully if you've ordered this beauty box then Balance Me's Face Wash is a welcome addition.
Lord and Berry Nude Ultimate Lip Colour Pencil (mini) | rrp £9.00
I'm always a little bit sceptical about Lord and Berry makeup, it just always seems to be in beauty boxes! But I can't deny that I was pretty happy to recieve a lip pencil in Look Fantastic's July Beauty Boxes. Lip pencils are so on trend at the moment, especially nude ones - so this just ticks all the right boxes! This Nude shade is pretty dark and brown toned and reminded me of one of my favourite nude lipsticks from Gosh (in the shade Nougat). The formula is creamy enough that it's easy to apply but not so creamy that it would slide off your lips, once it's applied it sort of locks down and doesn't budge. Overall, I think it's a really good lip pencil and apparently Lisa Eldridge used one of Lord and Berry's Lip Pencils in one of her videos, so if she likes these pencils then they're definitely worth a try!
Trilogy Everything Balm | rrp £11.25 45ml
sample value £2.50
I haven't tried many products from Trilogy before so when I opened LookFantastic's July Beauty Box this was a welcome sight. This multi-purpose skin balm seems like a universally applicable product that will suit most people. Free of lanolin, parabens and mineral oil, it offers a dose of nourishment for any area of dry skin. The sample size isn't too big but it's still more than enough product to properly put Trilogy's Everything Balm to the test.
Monu Firming Fiji Facial Oil | rrp £26.00
sample value £10.40
Monu is a really lovely brand and my experience with their products has been really positive thus far. This facial oil looks really lovely, and the sample size is pretty generous so you'll get more than enough to get an idea about whether or not you'd like to repurchase it. I swear by facial oils and this one has really lovely ingredients like Grape Seed Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil and Hazel Seed Oil, I'm really looking forward to trying it out! And if you're still not convinced about using oils on your face then this can double up as a seriously luxurious body oil.
Kebela Clarifying Shampoo | rrp £20.60
sample value £2.06
I don't know if it's just me, but during the summer I use so many products in my hair - far more than during the winter. Everything from hairspray to salt sprays graces my locks so when it comes to shampooing it's nice to have a clarifying option around. Clarifying shampoos work to de-gunk your hair of product build up, leaving it squeaky clean and product-free. They're not for using everyday, but incorporating a clarifying shampoo into your weekly routine isn't such a bad idea - especially if you love your dry shampoo and styling products! Although the sample size of Kebela's Clarifying Shampoo isn't massive, it's enough to give you a good idea about whether or not you'd like to repurchase it.
Look Fantastic's July Beauty Box* contains some really wonderful brands and products, and there does seem to be nice range of haircare, bodycare, skincare and makeup in this month's box. What do you think about the contents? Priced at £15, do you think that the #LFBeautyBox is good value for money?
This is a great selection of products. I love getting balance Me skincare - one of my favourite brands. Triology is a brand i'd like to try more from - heard lots of good things about them
