My favourite part of an outfit is nearly always one of my accessories. I love picking out a lipstick and a handbag, and I particularly like choosing my jewellery. Although I do have some very special pieces that have been passed down to me from my mum, I often see lovely affordable jewellery online and on the highstreet. Today I'll be sharing the new items I've introduced into my collection this summer; half of which I was very kindly gifted by JewelleryBox.co.uk (but which I picked out myself) and the other half I bought for myself in Accessorize's summer sale.
Sterling Silver Origami Crane Pendant Necklace (18 inch chain)* | rrp £8.00
This is definitely the piece that I was most excited about receiving. I've seen origami pendants all over the internet - especially on pinterest - and I just love them! Not only are they simple and delicate but I also think that they always look much more expensive than they actually are. Jewellery Box stock crane pendants on a variety of different chain lengths, I chose the 18 inch chain and I'm really happy with how it looks. All in all, I'm completely happy with this necklace, it looks exactly how I'd expected and I loved how it was packaged when it arrived. I'm seriously considering purchasing another one of these for a friend of mine!
Sterling Silver Pink Pearl Bracelet* | £10.50
I was seriously enamoured with this bracelet when I first saw it on Jewellery Box's website and when it arrived it didn't disappoint! I love the subtle variations in the colour of the pearls and as the bracelet is extendable it will fit everyone perfectly. My only concern is that the pearls are secured in place on the wires of the bracelet with glue, and after I wore the bracelet for the first time one of the pearls became unstuck (which you can just about see in the photo above). Although I love the look of this bracelet, and I love how it looks on my wrist, I don't think that it will stand the test of time!
This is another seriously pretty bracelet and I think I actually prefer this one as it's more simple and dainty. The only thing I don't love about it is the little tag attached to the bracelet that says the word "peace", I think that if this had been left blank then this would give a nicer overall impression. However, even with this tab, I still really like the bracelet - plus if feels well made and much hardier than other one that I was sent.
Aysha Labradorite Station Gold Plated Bracelet | £5.10 (on sale)
Layana Clasp Bracelet Gold Plated | £4.50 (on sale)
Although I love wearing silver I'm also a big fan of gold jewellery - just not the price tag that usually comes attached! Accessorize offer quite a nice range of gold plated jewellery and when this line gets put into the sale then some serious bargains can be had. Both of these bracelets are simple and easy to wear but they also feel well made, so despite being dainty I think that they're both going to wear really well.
Isha Labradorite Station Rope Gold Plated Necklace | £8.70 (on sale)
The highlight of my Accessorize haul was definitely this necklace. I spotted it a couple of months ago before it was put into the sale and was put off by it's £29.00 price tag - although it's very pretty I just didn't think I could justify buying it. However, at the much more reasonable price of £8.70 I think it's an incredible bargain! It won't be to everyone's taste but I think that it looks really delicate and much more expensive than it actually is.
So that concludes the lowdown on my new jewellery - my new Accessorize bits seem like real bargains and I'm so so happy to have discovered Jewellery Box. I was really impressed with their incredibly quick delivery and packaging, and the prices are so affordable too! Check out everything they have to offer here.

This is so beautiful, I love the pink pearl bracelet, it's so elegant and pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute jewellry!
ReplyDeleteWow, you were definitely able to find a lot of interesting pieces online from 'Jewellery Box' and 'Accessorize'. I especially like the pearl bracelet, but I also totally agree with your criticism of it—if the 'pearls' are affixed with glue then there's no way that it's going to last. It might be worth it to take it into a jeweller or even a watch maker and have it modified.
