I
just can’t help myself, okay. I am willing to admit that £38.00 for a body
lotion is verging on the absurd, edging upon obscene, but have you smelt L'Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate ? There is something magical, mystical and
just plain wonderful and its scent. Plus, for me it’s so nostalgic that they
could probably whip the price up by 20% and I’d still be coming back for more…
I’ve spoken about L’Occitane’s Almond Milk Concentrate on my blog before, and I undoubtedly will again. I really love L’Occitane; I love their stores, their helpful staff, their products and their packaging. Their branding has got me hooked, and scent of their Almond range is the epitome of my taste. Unfortunately, not everything in the range has the exact same scent. However lovely, the shower oil isn’t quite as musky and the hand cream is similarly lighter and fresher. The Almond Milk Concentre (and perhaps the Delicious Paste, one of my favourite exfoliators) stands out as my favourite.
L’Occitane’s Almond Milk Concentrate has a light, gel-like, consistency that absorbs into the skin quickly. It’s very hydrating, and I find that it also noticeably improves the texture of my skin – which is particularly helpful on areas such as the décolletage and neck. The expensive price tag certainly brings with it certain benefits. The Almond Milk Concentrate feels like a sophisticated moisturiser and I’ve never come across a more affordable product that comes anywhere close to its quality, fragrance or elegant packaging. Unfortunately for all fellow L’Occitane-lovers, there is no cutting corners with this product; but at least I can always be reassured that, for me anyway, it is money well spent!
I have been through numerous minis of this and whilst I like it, I usually get sick of it before I run out! X
