October Beauty Empties

It's the end of the month, again! Time just keeps passing so fast. I didn't get through that many products this month - only five - but I did finish a couple of make-up items so I thought it was worth writing a post (I hardly ever seem to finish make-up).

Korres Vanilla Cinnamon Shower Gel
For me, this is the smell of Christmas. It is a wonderful, beautiful, rich scent that really makes showering an incredibly luxurious experience. The consistency of the shower gel is great, it's really thick and foams up really well without being at all drying. I love it and would highly recommend it!

Lush Happy Hippy Shower Gel
This is a completely different scented product - it smells just like grapefruit so it's very light, fresh and invigorating. It's a great product to use in the mornings to help rouse you from sleep, it really did help me on early mornings. I received this as a gift and enjoyed using it but probably wouldn't repurchase it.

L'Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate
This is my favourite thing ever. Honestly, I love this product. It smells like nothing else I've come across (other than L'Occitane's almond range, obviously) and it is a glorious, glorious scent. Can you tell I'm driven by my nose? I fell in love with this product when I went travelling last year (it makes your skin feel unbelievably good) and I've actually been given another jar of this by a friend of mine, which as you can imagine made me exceedingly happy. It's expensive, it's a luxury, but it is something that gives me endless pleasure to keep on my bedside table. I use it daily (albeit sparingly) on my neck and decolletage.

Bourjois Liner Feutre in Ultra Black
This is a felt tip eyeliner and I liked it at first but it dries up so quickly that it definitely isn't worth the money. It's very black, it lasts on my eyelids well but the felt tip doesn't stand the test of time. I'd give this one a miss, I won't be buying this again.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in 'Light'
I've had this for about six months now and it is still usable but it has dried up quite considerably and I think I'd just prefer to buy a new one. The shade 'Light' is actually too dark for me now my tan has faded, but 'Fair' (the next shade down) is too pale so I like to mix the two shades together to get a perfect match. I'd definitely recommend this concealer and I'll be repurchasing this soon without a doubt.

Have you tried any of the products I mentioned? What products have you finished this month that you'll be repurchasing?

  4. I love that concealer! Light is the perfect shade for me, and even made it into my Oct Favourites :) Sadly I don't live in the UK so replacing it will be a bit stressful especially since I think mine is almost done.

The Korres body wash sounds amazing!
