Beauty shopping was on the back burner last month and I didn't really treat myself to anything new - even whilst I was in Madrid, where I managed to go into a Sephora without buying anything. Although, saying that, there are two rather juicy blog posts coming your way soon which feature some gorgeous bits that I was sent last month - so it isn't like I haven't tried anything new recently. However, sometimes there are products that you fall in love with and just want, regardless of if you *need* them or not - and these five are the beauty bits that I've been repeatedly eyeing up.

NOVEMBER DRESS PICKS: asos.com

This is a little bit of a different sort of post today. I've pretty much exclusively blogged about beauty so far but I thought I'd introduce a little bit of a fashion element as a prelude to the weekly fashion posts (featuring photos of student style that I've seen on campus) that I'm hoping to start doing- my University has some seriously fashionable girls and boys!

So today I'm just going to show you six dresses that I've picked out from asos.com that I would love to own and wear this Christmas season. There's a very definite 'skater dress' theme and that's just because I find the shape very flattering on me! I got the idea for this post off of Holly, who writes the Summer Holly Day blog, and I would definitely recommend checking her blog out. I only found it recently but I love it :)

I think my absolute favourites are the Ted Baker Sequin Print Prom Dress and the asos Skater Dress in Lace. Of the two the asos dress is definitely far closer to my actual budget, haha, but a girl can dream!
