Fragrance Direct Beauty Haul

I often shop with Fragrance Direct when I'm looking to get great discounts. Even when I can find a voucher code for other online retailers, there are always products available on Fragrance Direct that I just can't find at a better price anywhere else. If you're not familiar with this online store then I'd definitely recommend checking it out - it's a site I've been using for years, with only positive experiences. So, naturally, when Fragrance Direct got in touch with me I jumped at the opportunity to pick out some products from their huge beauty catalogue.

The first product I chose may look humble and unassuming, but in my experience W7's Liquid Eyeliner is one of the most reliable and long wearing liquid liners that I've ever tried. If you have hooded eyelids, or struggle with your eyeliner smudging or transferring onto your eyelid, then I'd highly recommend this product as these are never problems I have when I use it. It's become a daily staple for me, and whenever I want to wear liquid eyeliner this is the one that I choose. Plus, for the affordable price I don't think you can get anything better.

I'm a really big fan of Tangleteezer's brushes - and their handbag friendly brushes are by far my favourite. I find that they're the perfect size, not too big and not too small, and I love that they have a removable protective covering for the bristles. I find that this keeps the brush in great condition for much longer than other hairbrushes, and it means that loose strands of hair don't end up floating around in my bag. I already ave one of these brushes in purple, which I featured in a "What's in my travel beauty bag" blog post, and although that's still going strong I just fancied a change. I'd spotted this LuLu Guiness design on instagram where I fell in love with it pretty much instantly. Monochrome with a splash of red - I'm all for that colour combination! I think that Tangleteezer really do a great job of proving that even a really practical beauty product doesn't have to be boring.

I haven't tried any Bobbi Brown Eyeshadows before, but during April this was pretty much the only thing I wore on my lids. Don't be fooled by the name - this particular "Taupe" isn't the usual cool shade that I'd normally expect. I was inspired by Lily Melrose's YouTube videos to experiment with a warmer colour palette, and against my fair skin Taupe is a very wearable warm brown. The formulation of the eyeshadow isn't quite as buttery as I might have hoped for, but the quality is still really nice. I find that it lasts really well - especially if you use an eye primer - and it's also easy to blend out too. I wouldn't normally consider buying single eyeshadows, but I really love the colour and the quality. Its left me wanting to try more from Bobbi Brown's eyeshadow range, and with Fragrance Direct offering great discounts on price I'd definitely buy through the site again.

This is definitely the biggest bargain of the haul, as Fragrance Direct offer a £27.00 saving on Shiseido lipsticks. I was pretty excited to try some Shiseido makeup, and the lipstick I chose has a formulation that's very similar to Mac's Satin finish (only slightly less creamy). What it doesn't do is leave your lips looking flat or feeling tight, and it successfully marries together the finish of a matte with a more comfortable texture. The colour is a deep mauve, with quite a lot of lilac in it. I've found this ever so slightly more flattering now that I've got a bit more of a tan, as when I was paler the colour had a tendency to wash me out. If you like lipsticks with a Satin finish, or you're a big fan of mauve/deep-lilac shades, then this is a lipstick worth considering!

I don't know about you, but this has left me craving another browse of Fragrance Direct's beauty bargains! I'm definitely in the market for another Bobbi Brown eyeshadow, and as always I like to keep an eye out for their discounts on Mac's Lipsticks. What products are on your beauty wish list?
