Christmas in Covent Garden: Seven Dials Shopping Event

Yesterday I headed into town to meet my good blogging pal Charlie and we spent the evening enjoying the Seven Dials shopping event. Seven Dials is an area of Covent Garden that, as you might imagine, spans seven streets, all of which are filled with wonderful shops. Part of the event was a 20% discount across all the stores, as well as some wonderful "extras" including free drinks and entertainment. Charlie and I made the most of the festive atmosphere, and helped ourselves to some mulled wine before heading off to do some serious exploring! We didn't really buy anything (I may have picked up one Christmas gift) but we did visit so many lovely shops that we normally wouldn't have gone into. On our rounds we did enter a couple of raffles (I've got my fingers crossed for the one at Caudalie - I finally got to try out their Divine Oil in person and it is beautiful) and as per usual Charlie got lucky in one shop and nabbed herself a further discount on any potential purchases. 

Overall, it was a wonderful evening and I'm definitely going to be returning to Seven Dials again before Christmas. The atmosphere there is so lovely and there's so much going on! If you're visiting London soon then I'd definitely head over and check it out.
